If you are from Texas could you consider yourself a southern belle? Since Texas isn't really "true" south...Anonymous
I do, yes, though you are correct that Texas is not the “true” South. However, I can’t imagine a more “Southern” state.
Edit: I consider Texas a whole separate section of the South. I feel like Texas is an entity in and of itself adjacent to the South but yet still different.
